Quickstart
Sign up, have your first chat, connect an app and create your first agent from a template in about ten minutes.
This walk-through takes you from a new account to a working agent. You do not need a credit card to start.
Create your account
Go to app.agent-works.ai and choose Create account, or Continue with Google. Enter your email address, an organisation name and a password that meets the rules shown on the page, and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The sign-up page offers a starter balance with no card needed. Verify your email address first: the starter balance can only be spent after verification. If your colleagues already have a workspace for your email domain, you are offered the choice to join it instead of creating your own.
Follow the setup
A short setup asks for your name, how you prefer to be addressed (Casual or Formal) and which team you are in, for example Customer service, Sales or Finance. It then offers to connect one app and to claim your starter balance. You can use Skip setup and do all of this later.
Have your first chat
Choose New chat and type a question in the message box, for example "Summarise the attached document" after adding a file with the paperclip. Press Send. Type
/to pick an action or skill, or@to bring in a colleague.See Chat overview.
Connect an app
Open Actions, stay on the Apps tab, find an app such as Gmail or Google Drive and choose Connect. Sign in with the provider in the window that opens. Afterwards you can ask the assistant, for instance, to find an email.
See Connect apps.
Create an agent from a template
Open Agents, choose New agent and then From a template, or use Browse templates. Pick a template for your team, choose Use template, and the builder opens with it filled in. Connect the apps it lists, use Run test in the preview to try it, and then choose Deploy agent.
See Create an agent.
If the setup offered to start an agent for your team, that is the same template flow: it opens the builder with the agent already filled in.
What to try next
- Ask the assistant to create a document or a spreadsheet and edit it in the editor: Files and documents.
- Upload your own documents so answers cite them: Knowledge.
- Put an agent on a schedule: Schedules and triggers.
