Introduction
Understand what AgentWorks is, what its main parts do, and who it is for.
AgentWorks is an EU-based AI platform for small and medium-sized businesses. You chat with an AI assistant that can read your company's documents and work in your apps, build agents that do recurring jobs, and chain agents into workflows. Everything is paid from one euro balance, and you stay in control of what the AI is allowed to change.
The main parts
Chat
Ask questions, draft documents, spreadsheets and presentations, search the web and use your connected apps.
Agents
A saved assistant with its own instructions, actions and knowledge. Run it by hand, on a schedule or from a webhook.
Workflows
Several steps in a fixed order, with branches and human approvals, built on a canvas.
Knowledge
Your documents and knowledge bases. The assistant searches them and cites the source.
Board
A task board where you can assign a task to a colleague or to an agent.
Connections
Link apps such as Gmail, Google Drive or Slack, and custom MCP servers, so the AI can work in them.
How it fits together
You start in a chat. When a job comes back regularly, you turn it into an agent. When a job needs several steps or a sign-off by a colleague, you build a workflow. Agents and chats read from Knowledge and act in your Connections. Anything that changes something outside AgentWorks, such as sending an email, asks for your approval first. See Approvals.
Who it is for
- Teams in an SME who want one governed AI workspace instead of everyone using personal accounts.
- Admins who decide who can use which agents and apps, and how much each person may spend.
- Agencies that set up and maintain agents for their clients. Agency admins have their own console.
Plans
AgentWorks has three plans: Free, Business and Enterprise. Free is meant for trying the product, and some features have a lower limit there or need Business. Where a page in this documentation depends on the plan, it says so.
Usage is paid from a euro balance, not per seat of AI. See Costs.
