AgentWorks for Accountancy and bookkeeping

Your clients send documents. The agents get them ready to book.

Receipts by email, invoices as photos, questions about VAT in between. A team of agents reads what comes in, asks clients for what is missing and checks the administration. The booking stays with your people.

Accountancy and bookkeeping firms of roughly 10 to 250 people, and the finance office of a group of companies.

The work that comes back every week.

Reading client documents

Invoices and receipts as PDF, photo or forwarded email. Every one is typed over or checked.

Chasing what is missing

A receipt without a VAT number, a bank line nobody can explain. The same request, written fresh each time.

Checking the administration

Old open items, customers who pay late, suppliers who were never paid. Found at year end instead of each month.

Year-end preparation

Lists of open invoices and questions per client, built by hand from the same reports.

Client questions by email

Short questions that need a lookup and a careful answer.

Your team

A team of agents, each with one job.

Each agent does one thing well, in your own apps, and asks before it sends or changes anything. You give them their rules. They share the board with your people.

Document reader

Called by the workflow

Reads invoices and receipts from email: supplier, number, dates, amounts and VAT lines.

Reads and extracts on its own. It doesn’t book anything.

Working together

Client documents in, ready to book

Starts when A new email arrives in the mailbox where clients send their documents, for example documents@.. One workflow hands the work from agent to agent, and stops where a person needs to decide.

  • A bookkeeper books every document. AgentWorks prepares the lines, it doesn’t book in Exact Online.
  • Every email to a client asks first.
  • The accountant decides what goes on the year-end list and what is discussed with the client.

The apps it works in

Practice and bookkeeping software such as Twinfield, SnelStart, Nmbrs or Silverfin has no ready connector. If the package has an API, the HTTP request step or an MCP server can read from it; a webhook can start a workflow.

The Exact Online connection is read-only: it reads receivables, payables, quotations, relations and a financial summary. AgentWorks doesn’t book entries today. The agent reads and prepares; a person books. Client administrations hold personal data, so check that your processing agreements cover the tools you add.
