Leads and engagements

Track the companies you are talking to, convert a lead into a client and record what you agreed with each client.

The agency console has a small CRM. Leads tracks prospects before they are clients, and Engagements records what you agreed with a client afterwards.

Leads

Leads appear on the Clients page. Use them to keep track of the companies you are talking to and what the next step is.

  1. Add a lead

Choose Add lead. Only the Name is required. You can also add a Company, an E-mail, a Stage, a Next action with a date, and a Note.

  2. Move it along

Change the stage as the conversation moves on: New, Talking, Proposal, Won or Lost. Use Filter leads by stage to see one stage at a time.

  3. Convert it

When the company says yes, choose Convert to client. Afterwards the lead shows View client.

A lead shows its next action, and one whose date has passed is marked overdue. Leads without one show No next action. You can edit a lead or delete it; a deleted lead cannot be restored.

Engagements

Engagements live on a client's page, on the Engagements tab. Record what you agreed with the client: onboarding, a project or a retainer.

Choose Add engagement and fill in:

  • Title (required)
  • Kind: Onboarding, Project or Retainer
  • Status: Planned, Active, Paused or Ended
  • Start date and End date
  • Monthly value (€)
  • Note

The tab shows the total for Active engagements per month. Only active engagements count towards that total.

Leads and engagements are your own records. They do not change what a client pays AgentWorks and do not create a charge.
