Open a client's workspace (with consent)
Preview a managed agent as your client sees it, ask your client for access, and open their workspace to help them.
You can see what a managed agent looks like for a client at any time. To open the client's workspace itself, or to test the client's connections live, you need the client's consent. The client decides for how long and can revoke it at any moment.
Preview a managed agent
On a client's page, open the Agents tab and choose Preview next to a managed agent. The page Preview — how … sees … shows, read-only:
- the agent's name, description, model and schedule;
- What a run asks for: the inputs a run needs;
- Apps and connections: each app the agent uses, with the client's connection status: Connected, Expired or Missing.
Nothing in the preview changes the client's workspace. No consent is needed.
Test the client's connections
In the preview, choose Test connections to check that each connection still works. A live test uses the client's own connection, so it needs the client's consent. Without it you see Testing needs the client's consent and a Request access button.
Ask for access
On the client's page, choose Request access. The client's workspace admins get a notification and an email asking them to allow agency access.
What your client does
The client's workspace admin opens General in the Workspace console. Under Agency access they choose Allow for 24 hours or Allow for 7 days, and Revoke access to end it at once.
Open the client's workspace
While access is allowed, the button on the client's page reads View as client. It opens the client's workspace as the client's workspace admin. A bar at the top shows whose workspace you are in, with an exit button.
The client is notified each time you open their workspace. When they revoke access, your next action in their workspace is refused and you are back in your own console. Approvals, credentials and a few other sensitive actions stay blocked while you are in a client's workspace.
